With recent news of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mantioba, we will be taking precautions to protect the health of our clients and therapists and do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community.
While we already implement regular cleaning and sanitizing practices at the clinic, we will be increasing the frequency for the time being.
Due to the nature of our business, illness can spread easily through the clinic and to other people with whom we come into contact, including our own families. We ask that you please take this into consideration and call as soon as possible to cancel any upcoming appointments if you are presenting any flu-like symptoms, have traveled outside of Canada in the past month or have recently come into contact with anyone who has been ill.
In the event that you do not cancel your appointment and show up to the clinic presenting flu-like symptoms, your appointment will be cancelled immediately with a fee for withholding your condition.
Please know that we are doing this out of respect and safety for our clients, therapists and families, some of whom are pregnant, immunocompromised or have very young children and are therefore more at risk of suffering severe complications due to illness.
While these practices are no different that our regular health protocols at Munroe Massage Therapy, we are taking the potential severity of the situation very seriously. We thank you in advance for your understanding, communication and honesty.
